I'm pretty sure stores have until the end of the month to place orders so you should be safe.MarrowMan wrote:I ran out of dosh, so no comics for me this week. Hopefully I can order next week, and then off to the Toronto ComicCon next Saturday.

Put in a Kickstart donation and ordered a couple of copies on my May DCBS order. Can't wait to read it!
Massively proud of you and Hobo both! I know it'll be great.

Re: Man of God
So I got an e-mail from Kickstarter saying that the Man of God kickstarter isn't getting funded now? Sorry to hear it didn't work out. At least I know I should still be getting it through my pull list at the LCS.

We were hoping to get funded to secure the next arc or to be able to print a color TPB after issue #6 comes out, but we will now have to depend on sales alone for any plans we may have.
If you still want the Kickstarter rewards that you planned to donate for, contact Craig (Dellamorte) and he will still get them to you for your donation.

Re: Man of God
I've been talking this up around town and the one thing that gets people going "hmm" is the "names" of the variant artists. Hope the sales are good enough to fund another arc.

He'll yeh, I want another story from you guys! I haven,t even read the first one. You have my support.
Maybe run an add in some of the latter issues to promote the kickstart for series two, or story two pending how you number it. I personally would continue numbering.
I would also state in preview 1-6 is the first stoy ark of an ongoing series. Just my opinion.

It is an ongoing series. Craig has around 60 issues in his head.Phantom.. wrote:He'll yeh, I want another story from you guys! I haven,t even read the first one. You have my support.

Diamond suggested that we do it as a string of mini-series to help with sales.
The first arc is 6 issues and the next arc is also 6 issues. We will convey this in a future letters page.
We will do another kickstarter in the future.

Re: Man of God
I ordered #1 from DCBS but honestly just to support you gyus which I am glad to do. I prefer to purchase and read my stories now in collected editions, be they softcover or hardcover. I would love to be able to buy a collected edition of each story arc and would pay more for a signed edition.Fanboy375 wrote:We were hoping to get funded to be able to print a color TPB after issue #6 comes out.
Good luck! I admire you guys for going for this and really hope it's successful!

Good hmm, mostly. They are intrigued by the names a new, smaller company has gotten hold of and they also have interest in trying to get a complete set. I think most the people I've spoken to-shope owners and fellow collector-readers that are into this sort of thing-understand that variants are not a cheap grab but a nesc evil in this market.Fanboy375 wrote:Just wonder what you mean by this? Also as noted by Jonathan above, we failed to hit our goal on Kickstarter but if anyone is interested in any of the rewards just drop me a note and we can get it done.

Re: Man of God
I somehow overlooked ordering MOG #2. I have #1 (haven't had a chance to read it yet) and #3 is in my cart at MOC, but I don't know what happened with #2. Is it too late to put in a reorder from Diamond? If not, what is the Diamond item code so I can send MOC an email and ask that they add it to my order?
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I believe Diamond orders extra to cover initail reorders so it shouldn't be an issue. The Diamond item code is MAY121229Heath wrote:I somehow overlooked ordering MOG #2.
