Top 4 VH1 favourites
When I first heard the full line-up of the 4 initial relaunch titles, I was quite ecstatic, because they represented 3 of my 4 top favourite titles from VH1. I'm just curious what other peoples top 4 original fav titles were.
Here's mine;
1- Archer & Armstrong
2- Harbinger
3- X-O
4- Shadowman
It's actually difficult to rank them, as I feel very close to an equal passion for all 4. I could shuffle them at the drop of a hat depending on my mood...
***Apologies if this topic idea has been done before... I scanned back through several pages worth of topics but didn't find one similar [I'm still a fresh nOOb here].

Re: Top 4 VH1 favourites
When I was collecting I saw it pretty much like this:
1. Eternal Warrior (entire series)
2. Harbinger (1-25, stopped collecting it after reading #26)
3. X-O (up until birthquake, stopped collecting it after that)
4. Solar (up until Jurgens left, then i stopped collecting it)
A&A #0-12 get an honorable mention, but believe it or not until I read EW #6-8 I was never interested in A&A, and by the time I picked up issues 9-12 the "good" A&A was coming to an end (and it was really bad after #12 IMHO).
Looking back, through today's lense, I would put it like this:
1. Eternal Warrior (full run, including "wings" and the F&S mini)
2. Archer & Armstrong (0-12)
3. Solar (1-10)
4. Harbinger (1-25)
If we exclude the GK characters, I would move Harbinger up to #3 and put X-O (#0-15) into spot #4.

XO Manowar first 25 issues or so
Harbinger first 20 issues or so
Shadowman
XO is probably my favorite character.
I haven't read Eternal Warrior before though....it's gonna be my next series to acquire. I also still need to read Archer and Armstrong

Re: Top 4 VH1 favourites
I've really never read much of the post Unity books. Unity is my all time favorite Valiant followed by Magnus through Unity and BWS A&A and XO. I love the characters of Shadowman, Eternal Warrior and Bloodshot but have not read more than probably the first few issues of each.

Geez... no love for the Doctor? Doctor Who? no. Doctor Hwen.
1. Second life of Dr. Mirage (Overall my favorite title, though obviously not the best or even my favorite stories, I think it would make a kickass TV Show)
2. Archer and Armstrong (BWS A&A titles are my all time Favorites, though overall my second favorite title)
3. Unity.
4. Every other title that had a chapter in Unity.

I am also guilty of not reading Eternal Warrior before... unless you count A&A #8... in which case I'm in the clear. I've corrected the problem anyway - I've just found EW 1-3 & 5-7, 9-13 over the last couple of weeks... [I really want a copy of #4]

Magnus
X-O
Rai
Solar
Magnus was just straight up comic book fun with a depth of conflict, character and interaction that was unmatched in the other titles. I mean, thematically, an entire book dedicated to exploring the concept of free will? Stupendous. Best line, E-7 (leader of the Freewills) to the Malev Visier, upon being told they had to fight for the Malevs: "Required? We do not care for this "required".
So while Aric was probably my favorite character/archetype, Magnus was definitely my favorite title.

Then

2. Harbinger

4. Archer & Armstrong
Now
1. Quantum & Woody
2. Archer & Armstrong
3. Rai
4. Magnus
I reserve the right to conflict with either of these lists at any time due to various whims.
