Thanks, those two will look nice in GPA... The H6 is legitimately tough and there have not been any recorded sales for awhile. I had two other offers over $200 on it.

I put in the CGC submission that those two just came back in on 3/7 - So my VH4 XO 1 sub won't be here until August if that keeps up.

The sad thing about that sub was that it had a number of beautiful VH1 XOs that were damaged in shipping. I only got an XO 5 and 6 out of it, should have been many more. The package was insured and I collected a nominal amount from the Post Office on them.

I put those up as well as a H2, a EW 3 and HardCorps 1. We'll see how it goes.

Solar 10 First Print sold for $41, which shocked me with the large scan and NM/M statement.

Preface: I am not the buyer or the seller of this book.
You know, I just looked at that original listing and the scan of the book and it does look like a really nice copy from the front cover based on that alone, it looks like it could grade 9.6 or better which would make it totally worth the $45 shipped final price. However, there was no scan of the back cover (although I allow for the possibility that maybe the seller emailed a pic to the winning bidder) and as ckb just posted about in this thread, the book could get damaged either being shipped from the seller to the buyer or from the buyer to CGC (if the buyer chooses to get it slabbed which is the only reason I would have paid that much for that book). Just my brain-damaged thoughts.

The most I ever paid for any comic was Harbinger #0 Pink for $175 in about 1993. It looks possible that I might be able to get my money back out that book one day soon if I choose. Wow!

But in looking over the seller's feedback, he seems to have a good track record. Even on his packaging. And I was very tempted, as if I didn't already have a 9.8 of this fantastic book ...

The scan being in the bag though presents seeing real details of the book. Lot of books can look superb in the bags, but once they are removed it can be a bit different.

Same buyer picked up a EW 5 CGC 9.8 for $45 before shipping. I had the Shadowman 8 at $75 and was going to stick to that, but I took a slightly lower offer combining it with the other purchase.
