This looks sweet, I want to do it:
http://www.thewalkingdeadescape.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's a Walking Dead zombie obstacle course at Petco Park. Finally, I'll be able to see how I would do in the zombie apocalypse.

I didn't see - are they allowing live ammo or is it going to be another wussy rubber bullets scenario?Dr. Solar wrote:This looks sweet, I want to do it:

I would also do it but $70 is a bit steep...

I wonder what variant you get? Is it the 1:200? If so, it would be worth it just for that.Dr. Solar wrote:This looks sweet, I want to do it:

If that is the case, then it will be worth it just to get the variant.

I just got my ticket!
I'll do you proud, Chiclo. They say no weapons, probably a California thing.

Re: SDCC 2012
I will do all I can to survive...... including "Otis-ing" someone if need be.
One concern I have is that these zombies will be moving faster than the ones on the TV show.

Re: SDCC 2012
Maybe, maybe not.
Maybe they'll be slow moving zombies, as is correct. They just mentioned that a brisk walk or slow jog would be needed to outrun a zombie.

I would think they'd be the same as those ones they had walking around SD in character a few years ago at the con, if you remember they were in the way when walking around the sidewalks everywhere.Dr. Solar wrote:Maybe, maybe not.

Re: SDCC 2012
OT a bit, but the weirdest thing I saw at SD last year was some dude dressed like an old lady riding about 15 mph down the sidewalk in a motorized wheelchair with some guy dressed like a mad scientist chasing after him. The wheelchar was catching air going over bumps.

Re: SDCC 2012
I'm here!
I'm at the Hyatt. Cruised around the convention center a bit, might meet up with a recent friend this evening for a bit.
Also, I got the last little thing I needed for my costume.
Yes, I'll have a costume this year. And it's awesome.
