Already out of my price range...
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

$127.50 .... I was expecting more. Remember when these things were going for like $300 each?? I was lining up a bid at $100, but I already have one. I figured if it would go that cheap I would go for it.

At least it hit that nice jump at the end. I was thinking the first bidder was going to win it there for a minute.Crow331 wrote:$127.50 .... I was expecting more. Thanks for the bids. I do my best to be a good seller and make sure the buyer is always happy. Veireborn sounds familiar. Is he a board member? Do anyone know him?

That was me, I was in for $100. I figured I'd get the show started anyway.
I am selling "nothing" on ebay-yet.

Just curious, what is the significance of these penguins? I know they’re rare and highly sought after, but why penguins?

This is from the original Solar Penguin auction.
svair wrote: It comes from Solar 3 (or was it 4?). costumed Solar fought phil and the fight ended with a huge explosion in the arctic. Months later in an editorial bob layton said that the fight killed all the penguins in the arctic hence the phrase "there are no penguins in the Valiant Universe"

but the ones in the ANTarctic survived. they were subsequently enslaved and forced to wear these silly superhero outfits.Daniel Jackson wrote: This is from the original Solar Penguin auction.

If nobody else is going to say it, I will. Penguins are not confined solely to cold habitats or the Antarctic but they are confined to the Southern Hemisphere.toddyboy wrote:why not penguins?jasont215 wrote:Just curious, what is the significance of these penguins? Luckily, it was the southern hemisphere in Antarctica where Phil Seleski confronted the Solar that manifested from his mind so the penguin genocide still probably happened, albeit not so totally as represented by Bob Layton.
