Which version of Superman 75 is this?

This looks like the platinum version but it isn't due to the black logo on the bottom. So I was wondering which version of the death of superman is this comic? Is it a 2nd print?

platinum version looks just like the black bag version, except the red "S" is platinum. I worked at a comic store when it came out. we did the contest where every copy you bought of the regular you could enter to win the platinum. ungrateful winner turned right around and sold it in the store after he got it. called his name out, he came up, and no sooner did he turn around he sold it to a guy for $50! i guess if ebay were around then, he'd probably have done that. bad part was, he had already sold the 10 copies of the regular version he bought...so he definately wasn't a reader...of course that was a very speculative time back then.
By the way, this version pictured (as all others have mentioned) is just the black bag version opened up and all the "extra's" spread out.

This *SQUEE* me off because I was a reader AND and a collector at the time. I tried to get a copy but they were realsed on Wed during school and obviously I wasn't able to get down there until the weekend and by then they only had 2nd prints. My non-comic collecting friend at the time had his mother go down and get him two copies. The *SQUEE* would never sell one to me even though I offered him $20.hitvideos wrote:platinum version looks just like the black bag version, except the red "S" is platinum. I finally got my first copy a couple of months ago from one of the board memebers. This is just a case of the collectors getting pushed aside for greed. Is it any wonder that the industry was doomed during the mid 90's?

No doubt, I heard people were going to stores who had never bought a comic before buying cases of them just to try to make a few bucks. A-holes!This *SQUEE* me off because I was a reader AND and a collector at the time.
