The animated Turok movie is pretty cool. I bought a copy the day it came out (Jan '08?) and right now the DVD is on loan (for a third time) to my 10 year old nephew.

I don't know if it is on Netflix but if it is, it is well worth the hour and a half to watch it.

It's a shame Ryan McClelland's Ultraverse website isn't still up. It was a clone of the valiantfans site in design. If it had become massively popular, there could have been a message board started, and a real rivalry of comic book geeks could be underway.

I don't hate the Ultraverse, just the Only the Ultraverse podcast. Those guys help continue bad stereotypes about comic book people.

Early on in the run of the podcast, Sean said that Valiant was better than Ultraverse and I said that the Only the Ultraverse podcast would probably respond "I don't remember a Valiant cartoon". The gag has continued ever since.
