Broadway.... say it aint so....

Comic universes no longer active, Bravura, Continuity, CrossGen, Future, Malibu, Ultraverse... and others that are 'no longer with us' today (or only recently brought back).

You can find the .pdf of the Star Seed #10 script here:

http://www.shooterswork.com/broadway/mi ... seed10.pdf

As far as I am aware, there is no script for issue #11, the conclusion.

Um... yes.

So I've read Powers That Be, Star Seed, and Fatale.

These are soooooooooo good. Like great.

I like everything about these...... the art is realistic like early Val., the subtile character development is wonderful..... the explanation of the "powers" is great. I love ..... love..... the final page of Fatale #6, her on the throne. :thumb:

I have enjoyed reading these books just about as much as anything I have read in a while.

I am not saying that PTB, and Star Seed, and Fatale is up there with Sandman, or Fables, or Astro City, or Early Val...... but it's pretty dang darn good.

One of the main factors of a GREAT comic book is that.... at the end..... you want to keep reading to get more...... after every issue of Broadway, so far..... I have always wanted more.

Dude... bottom line..... Shooter can write him some comic books.

agree... i've always thought Broadway was Shooter's best second only to Valiant. Too bad they were just getting going at the time of the comic crash.

The crash is what killed the company (IMO)... I would have loved to see MORE books. Even Defiant was really getting off to a good start when the plug was pulled. Seems like Shooter could never really get a break. Once you p!ss off the powers that be (no pun inteded), it is hard to recover.... MAN, I feel like Jim Shooter these days. I guess I ticked off the wrong people around here (my community). :|

I always thought Broadway was Defiant 2.0 than anything, I'm not saying it was bad I quite enjoyed them but to me it always seemed more like a
continuation of Defiant than a new stand alone universe.

And FTR I did read the Dark Dominion/Fatale crossover story that is online somewhere.

Sorry for the old topic but this is the closest to what I was looking for. So I read Knights on Broadway this week and it was the best thing I have read in ages. Are there any scripts circulating out there for this series? I would love to know what happens :!:

It might've been as great as the books you mention here, if it had not been interrupted. :(
