I think a copy sold in the $45-50 range a few months back...might have been Elveen's auction. But yeah, $300 and $200 are clearly excessive.
That being said, the version w/price is almost as scarce as the GBU with 2 key differences 1) the no price version dilutes appreciation for the variant cover and 2) the GBU cover is just so damn cool.

Btw, I have 2 extra copies, if anybody wants one for $50-60 feel free to PM :thumb:

Agreed. The GBU is one book I can definitely see myself hoarding, I love that shadowman vol. 3 art!

It is high, but I've seen copies sell for at least 75 bucks a time or two.

This past auction? Yes the no price was included, so knock off $10 bucks.

A heads-up for everyone, the same seller from the above auction just bought both my Shadowman copies over the holidays (for $55 and $60 respectively). Neither copy was NM. His new auction pictures the same price variant as his Dec 12th auction, listed at NM.

It's possible he's reselling that same book again or he could be selling one of the 2 copies from me. Just be aware of this if you think you're getting a true NM copy...then again, he doesn't claim to be a professional grader. Btw, if the seller is a member here then please feel free to respond and clarify things. I'm not trying to block any sales - just looking out for my Valiant bro's against possibly overgraded books.

Here's a link to his new auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shadowman-1-Vol ... 4ab295ea8f" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the heads up, I can't tell from that picture if it's an actual scan or an image (probably used here).

It looks like he had the books stacked on something and they shaped around whatever it was.

But these auctions are for 'like new' 'excellent condition' Power Pack and Defenders comics that would make a 'great addition to your collection!'

I don't know about you guys but I NEED good condition Power Packs!!
