Ultraverse story strands...
I was re-reading the Ultraverse Unlimited #1 issue last night (I was grabbing some other books out of my UV long box at random and this seemed to 'call' to me).
While not the greatest comic book ever, it got me thinking about some of the strands or threads of stories that made up the Ultraverse.
fFr example the Rune series kicking into other stories through to UU #1.
Warstrike: starting off in Mantra, into Premiere 1-3, into Warstrike 1-7, into the prelude to Godwheel, into Godwheel, that kind of thing.
I wonder if it could be cool to pick out some of those threads and post them here? Of course some threads weave in and out of other story threads, but identifying a larger through-arc could inspire us DU-mongers to track down specific issues.

Well then, someone should start up an Ultraverse podcast. I can personally guarantee them at least one listener.

I don't have any Ultraverse, because I can't afford another hobby right now. But just looking at it, dammit, I want to be the biggest fan. It really looks like so much fun. I'm in for the podcast!

Re: Ultraverse story strands...
One thing about Ultraverse, the books are just fun to read. Sure the character names are a little silly and the art is a little cartoony but they are comics, plain and simple.chisumwomack wrote:I don't have any Ultraverse, because I can't afford another hobby right now. The later Ultraverse books lost a lot of that.

Have no fear I will be hooking him up with the entire Ultraverse line when I get home. He will see what he was missing.Chiclo wrote:One thing about Ultraverse, the books are just fun to read. Re: Ultraverse story strands...
I found this special Ultraverse episode of Fanboy Buzz, that includes some awesome interviews with Len Strazewski, Rich Hoberg, and Roland Mann. http://www.fanboybuzz.com/2011/08/fanbo ... e-special/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It's the closest I could find to an Ultraverse Podcast though.
Also, have you guys seen this Facebook group? Cool little knowledge tidbits pop up every once in a while. http://www.facebook.com/groups/73184525691/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
