I agree that the Rai/Bloodshot flip book would be a great idea. That way they could get more characters out there without having too many titles, plus you could run a parallel between the stories to show their similarities / differences. If it were to happen, though, I think it'd be a limited thing. I don't see Valiant wanting to share Bloodshot with any other characters.Elveen wrote:MarrowMan wrote:Well, I think X-O Should come first, (and it is) It starts off in the Valiant past, and could possibly have cameos of younger Gilad Ivar and Aram, and when Aric is transported to the present, it's in Space, like a vast cosmos, lots of possibilities there to meet other characters (IE; Elvis in Vol.1 #0, LOL) After that I would do Harbinger, Toyo, Peter, Torque, Flamingo etc. and intro to the world of psionic powered people. Then I would do Bloodshot/Rai as a flip book, past present kind of thing, and see how their lives mirror each other (If indeed RAI is in some point in the future) Then I would introduce ShadowMan and Master Darque in Eternal Warrior, because they are all pretty much of the "Supernatural" genre and not really too related to the "Superpowered" or "Sci-Fi" heroes.
I think you have the order correct with a new #1 coming out each month. Interesting idea with the Rai flip book.
I also think you are right on the money with the release order, MarrowMan. So maybe Harbinger in early June?

I think a BloodShot/Rai Flipbook would be a great idea, doesn't ncesessarily have to be a starter but a mini or something down the line would rule.

Is there an appetite for flip-books in the wider market? I am not so sure as either page count for the twin stories is driven down, or a higher page-count book is released at relatively high price-point, which could be risky if trying to grab new readers.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

If that's the case^ then do it more as a "preview" like image comics did with "Chew" back in the pages of The Walking Dead

Agree that Rai/Bloodshot flipbook would be awesome and makes a lot of sense.
