Still reading the Occultist. Really.
So, I picked up the Occultist today.
Yes.
Wandering through the shop, checking other items. Dark Horse Presents caught my eye. The logo on the outside struck me. Looked vaguely Dark Key-ish.
So, I left the shop. Leafed through to the end of the book. Guess what.
It's too be continued in Dark Horse Presents number 11.
Hooray.

The connection was in the first MAIN logo on the one-shot. The first issue also connects with a one-page reference to the Gold Key character - kinda.Brother Darque wrote:how is The Occultist connected to the Gold key characters?
I'm not really a fan of the book. I loved the covers - especially the 25th anniversary one.
I have pretty much finished my Acclaim and Valiant run, so my comics money is more liquid. Filling in a few gaps, but I figured I could fill in the majority of the 'Dark Key' collection.

Re: Still reading the Occultist. Really.
With it the only thing on my list, I may stay with it a while. Of course, the $8 price tag, plus the variant covers will eventually kill me, but until Valiant makes it to 8 titles, I will be a sucker. Of course, this kind of discourse is what killed me on comic books completely back in the nineties...leonmallett wrote:That is enough to deter me - forewarned is forearmed.
