Bummer, I was thinking about you when I saw all of the Classic Conan trades. I couldn't pass on Magnus books at .84 each, not as a good a deal as you, but close enough. Two years ago to this day we were chilling out in Tombstone.

TFAW.com has some pretty awesome sales. Over Black Friday/Cyber Monday they had most trades at 80% off. I have always had a good experience with them. I use them a lot since there is not a comic store in my area.

Did you get your TFAW order yet? I placed one during the black friday weekend and anxiously waiting some hardcovers they sold for cheap. Luckily they didn't seem to sell out but they are unshipped. I hope they do another 80% sale again for x-mas.

I just logged into the site and saw my order shipped. Normally they send an email saying they shipped. I am speculating, but I think due to the economy they have less workers which caused the delay in processing orders and sending them out. If you took advantage of free shipping (WREATH), it will take some time.

The only gripe I had with the WREATH code was that it only applied to comics and GNs, I had wanted to order some gelaskins (the size of a comic), but the system wouldn't let me take advantage of free shipping so I skipped on them.

Overall I cannot complain, my recent order of 13 TPBS (one is a HC) and 5 comics for $55 with free shipping is a fantastic deal.

Cool "wreath" code...I used their "amazon" word for free shipping. I noticed "news" and "youtube" work too.

I didn't get a confirmation email yet but they charged my card. I thought they charge then ship right after. I ordered the Nexus vol 1 archives for 9.99 and four Star Wars s&n hardcovers for $15 that were originally $99 at their store. There were some awesome deals like $1.99 for trade paperbacks on there. Hopefully they'll run another again for the end of the year.

They did seem to have some deals, but not on any books I was looking for. Was the website extremely slow for you guys too on black friday?

Well, the series was pretty good. As I was reading it, I noticed it came out last fall! I cannot believe it came out that long ago. I definitely thought it was good to see Magnus with someone other than Leeja for a brief time, and I liked the concept of the Q-bots. It's a bummer the series came to an end.
