Tex Porneau has one of the coolest names here.

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
I have loved the last few episodes. Where yall cover the last half of series. I just recently reread my collection of Magnus and Rai. And to me after the Malev war was over both titles got extremely crappy.

Thank you! I was trying to find a decent icon sized GIF of Tex but couldn't find a good one online.depluto wrote:Tex Porneau has one of the coolest names here.

OTV makes dreams comes true. For Jonesy.JonesyAZ wrote:It is honestly a dream come true to not only be featured as a co-host on a comic book podcast, but one that I was equally a fan of in the beginning as well
Welcome to the Bored! Thanks for listening, and for the kind words!Tex_Porneau wrote:This is my first post on VF.com, as I've been just lurking and reading everything for about a month now. I discovered the Podcast on here, and I've already listened to all 60 episodes between home, my work commute, and excercising, in the past few weeks.

After a couple episodes off from this theme, we'll come back to it. Gilad is next?newt138 wrote:I have loved the last few episodes. Where yall cover the last half of series. The combined mass of OTV is rather large. I suggest you heed Veen's warning.Elveen wrote:Them is fighting words. Don't make mechisumwomack wrote:Now if only they would lose that Jonesy guy, it would be perfect.you.

In all seriousness though, and no offense to past co-hosts, this is my favorite line up. You guys do a pretty good job of playing off each other, bringing up different points, and keep it relatively on track. Kuddos, boys.

Sorry I'm a little dense, but if you are asking about Tex, it's a character in Grant Morrison's "The Filth".depluto wrote:Wait, is that actually somebody's name?

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
listening to the newest podcast, have the last 17 minutes or so to finish.
I REALLY thought I was going to be totally bored and uninterested in this particular podcast, as I really don't collect new books and definitely did not buy into the "New 52". However, listening to you guys discuss them has kindled some interest in me. I still won't pay more than cover price for any of the books, but if I ever find them at a good price, I might have to give some of the series a shot.

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
I listened to the 52 podcast a few times already. I was bummed that I could not make, but I really enjoyed listening.
My main question is.......
Who dropped the cheese bomb? You could hear it in the background.

There's some good stuff in there for sure. Stuff like Animal Man, Batman, Aquaman, Swamp Thing are definitely worth checking out if you can get them cheap.Brother J wrote:listening to the newest podcast, have the last 17 minutes or so to finish.

I too had no interest in any of the new 52, but I did enjoy the discussion. Always worth listening regardless of topic. Can't wait until it's NEW Valiants you guys are discussing. Any idea what the schedule might be once new monthly comics are coming out?
This post has been carefully constructed so as to add absolutely nothing to any discussion or topic.

I'm sure that as we get closer and information starts coming out, we will record frequently. I can't wait to be talking about new books.dbngaa wrote:I too had no interest in any of the new 52, but I did enjoy the discussion. Always worth listening regardless of topic. You guys still need to review the Dark Key books. I think all that was discussed was Solar 1 and Magnus 1.

In all honesty, I've been pretty impressed with how frequent the episodes have been since the new crew. I'm actually starting to fall behind on the podcasts!Elveen wrote:I'm sure that as we get closer and information starts coming out, we will record frequently.
