One day when my mom was about to run some errands at the mall, I asked if she could stop by Steve's Comic Relief to pick me up a few comics. I had a habit of buying the lesser known books, but she totally surprised me when she came back with a random title by the name of Solar Man of the Atom (#1). Needless to say after that I was hooked, but I think what really made me a hardcore Valiant fan was Harbinger. To this day I still remember my mom waking me up to tell me my Pink Harbinger #0 had arrived in the mail. I was ecstatic! The next two years of Valiant were awesome thanks to Shadowman, Archer & Armstrong, X-O, Rai, etc.! Unfortunately, I lost touch with the Harbinger Kids and the rest of the Valiant Universe shortly after the Stanchek/Harada showdown in Harbinger #25. But I must say those first two years were pretty rad! I owe my mom a big thanks for turning me on to a stellar line of comics in its infancy (AKA pre-Unity). And I owe all the members of this Valiantfans community a big thanks for catching me up to speed on everything that's happened in the Valiant universe since Harbinger #25. I'm addicted to this site and all the stories it has to offer. Thanks!
