Rai and the Future Force - For Real?
So, I have my daughter reading the Valiant Universe from the start. We're doing okay - and we're in the midst of a catch-up evening.
She is reading Archer & Armstrong 7. Enjoying it. Comes across an ad for Rai #9.
She's eleven.
She reads out loud, "Rai and the Future Force. Well, THAT's stupid... DAD! Did you ever read Rai and the Future Force? Was it as stupid as it sounds?"
I tell her to reserve judgment until she reads. But secretly snicker.

Hey, look! I have a podcast!
And a Website!

In addition, I'm right.

I'll save those for when she's a teenager. And driving me crazy.

I let my 12 year old son read some Eternal Warrior...I hesitated about letting him read 6 and 7 but finally let him. That clown and the finger in the eye still make me cringe...and "I'm a man! I'm 40!"

That is indeed graphic, but I still think that finger in the eyeball is the most disturbing thing I've ever seen...and then the clowns...well, they are bad enough without their heads exploding!myron wrote:not as bad as hardcorps #2 where shakes blows that one dudes head apart..GRAPHIC!dave wrote:I let my 12 year old son read some Eternal Warrior...I hesitated about letting him read 6 and 7 but finally let him.
