You are not making this easy, man.
its NOT case sensitive, you sent the request to the right one

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
Xbox Live is not case sensitive ? I didn't know that. Makes sense though.
That being said, your first incantation (DetroitSquireL) threw me and no matter the variation, it didn't take. Now I gotcha, saw you online tonight (I think or at least on my list or something... I was tired and wanting to have some no stress zombie fetch missions... DI is a bit of a let down at the moment).

Yeah it's nothing you can immediately put your finger on but just feels like it could have been a bit better. I never feel quite in control when fighting, the aiming system isn't quite reactive enough. And your right about the missions, they all follow exactly the same formula... and every body on the island is bloody lazy. Maybe thats why they're all getting infected, as punishment for their sloth and gluttonyKnightt wrote:Xbox Live is not case sensitive ? I didn't know that. Makes sense though.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
I believe our character (I am playing the rapper, "Who do you voodoo, b!tch") is immune to the zombie bite so we are getting the huge 'honey-do' list. If they threw a supernatural twist in on this, it would be much better as there are times when I get that 'vibe' from the wind or something and it does put an 'edge' on things.

Picking up L.A. Noir from a guy for only $22 this afternoon. Been looking forward to getting this game and at that price I couldn't pass it up...

Glad I had no desire to get that one....I'm looking to get Battlefield 3 when it hits the shelves

Pretty sure LA Noir was $14.95 at Blockbuster today - buy one get one free. I had previously said that I was bummed that the sale was over but I stopped in there on whim this afternoon and today supposedly is the final day. I had a hard time passing up 2 games for $14.95. Picked up Fallout New Vegas and Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
The Fallout games are not for everyone. The games are huge and just walking around opening new areas can take quite a bit of time. Not to mention maintaining your weapons, picking the right upgrades for your abilities, talking to people and trying to decide the best course of action to take in the quests. There was a point in the previous game (Fallout 3) early on where I felt like quitting as well (got tired of being killed by everything in the game), but once I leveled up a bit, it started to get fun.Squirrel wrote:I got Fallout Vegas and it has bored me to near death.....my son tried it and said the same thing...looks like its getting traded in at FYE
I'm about a quarter of the way through New Vegas and love the game so far. It's just as good as the last installment, IMO. I'm glad I waited to play it though as there were a lot of bugs before the updates from what I've read. For the most part, I've encountered minor bugs like characters floating a few feet in the air and rocks that you can see through, things like that. There is an annoying loading bug that I encountered last night though. The game loading icon just keeps spinning and never loaded the game. I had to use a much earlier save to get into the system and then I was able to load the last save with no problems. I'm hoping that's the worst bug run across.

Dang, getting THROUGH a Fallout game is damn near tedious as getting through your long *SQUEE* post, JD !!!Daniel Jackson wrote:The Fallout games are not for everyone. Certain that L.A. Noir was marked at $29.99 at Blockbuster I'm there more than I like to admit.R Daneel wrote:Pretty sure LA Noir was $14.95 at Blockbuster today - buy one get one free. So it wasn't in that BOGO sale.

I'm not a big racing fan but was playing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 at a mates last week. Amazing fun, not too difficult, looks great and a good variety of modes. Worth a crack if you have a chance.robb77 wrote:just finished burnout paradise. I really enjoyed this game, not excessivly hard and a lot of fun. I've been jumping around Fable II, Fable III, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age II, and I'm planning to play Alan Wake: The Writer DLC sometime in the near future.
Christ I need some new games.

The Witcher 2 seems pretty awesome from what I've played. It's a massive and beautiful solo action RPG. think Zelda for adults. Although if you don't like swearing or nudity Id give it a miss.
What I like most is the fact that there is no good and bad, everyone is morally ambiguous and no decision is right or wrong.
I believe it's based on some pretty highly regarded fantasy novels, but know nothing of this myself.

Anyone care to translate Mike's excellent use of the English language and insert the infamous missing grammar that all of us agree to use when we communicate with each other ? You know, so we can 'communicate' with each other ?

My guess (and that is what it is a GUESS) is: I'm not going to get much sleep because I'll be getting and/or playing Gears of War 3 for a few days.
