Found one of the rare Golden Apple Comics "Treehouse of Horror" signed books that comes with a certificate. These were limited to 500 when the Bongo crew did a store signing at the Golden Apple store years back.
This one has Matt Groening's signature with a sketch of "Bart and Bill Morrison's sig who sketched a "Scratchy" head from "Itchy & Scratchy" fame.
James Robinson and Mike Allred also signed the cover who both had short stories in the comic:

The "Scratchy" sketch in silver ink comes out better in this pic:

They are rare enough that they probably won't be found in bargain bins, but I don't expect them to sell for much more than $5-15 on ebay.ian_house wrote:Is that good? Surely with the line being dead they are bargain bin fodder?MoonChild wrote:Just gotta Solar/Magnus C2E2 Variant for $8.50What have they been going for recently?
Now that I have them in my hand, and I can't jinx it any longer, I picked up a lot of Acclaim Comics that included Armorines 1-4, Unity 2000 1-3 (just the regular versions), Immortal Enemy, GOAT and a few more I needed for $25.00. I could not hit the BIN fast enough.

What conditions were the books in?
They just came today, so I had only a few minutes at lunch to tear into the box and check everything out. But after a cursory look I'd say 8-8.5 each. That might change, but for my 1st copies of these books (in a decidedly reader-friendly Valiant/Acclaim collection) I'm pretty stoked. Besides, you can't upgrade until you have...um, graded.

local show yesterday, here's some of the highlights:
Black Panther #23 (Deadpool x-over) and Deadpool #42, 44 (2 copies), 45-53, 54, 55 (the Punisher issues), 56-58, 50 cents each.
Daredevil #27 in VG+ and Daredevil #122 Mile High 2 Collection with COA from the 5 for $1 box. The cover looks sun-faded on the MH2 book, though.
Punisher (1st limited series) #1 and #2 in 5 for $1 box
Valiant wise, I picked up a Solar #10 (only about a Fine, though) and a Quantum and Woody #0 also in the 5 for $1 boxes.
Lots of other great books, but I'm too lazy to list them all.
