If it takes 13 variant covers for issue 1 and 9 variants for issue 2 in order for Dynamite to continue publishing well written and well illustrated licensed comics that in most cases come out somewhat close to the dates they were solicited, then that is what it takes.
If it takes *SQUEE* on the covers of comics to sell Dejah Thoris, then that is what it takes.
I'll keep buying them. Except the Dejah Thoris book, I dropped that one.

Sometime in the next year, I could hold in my hands a Dynamite #70. I still can't say that for Valiant.

I want to continue to argue with greg and tell him he's wrong but he makes such a strong point that it's difficult.
I refuse to concede and only more vehemently defend my previous statement! I shall substitute volume for substance! Your cold logic will never trump my blindly devoted passion!

It brings up something equally ribald but different when put in the context of my friend David and a short-lived rumor that led us to call him "thumbprint".greg wrote:You do realize the little thumbs-up graphic takes on a whole new meaning in that context, right?Chiclo wrote:Just those few times in college.greg wrote:Teabagger.

Re: Ninjak #1 auto by Quesada & Palmiotti Dynamic Forces COA
Here are pages 10-13 from Triton issue #5. The 4th page (p 13) mentions the the Ninjak #1 VVSS signed by Mark Moretti, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Joe Quesada. So maybe somehow DF ended up with these books (less the Moretti signature).

No.
And this copy looks to be in the VALIANT mylar. I will provide an update when I receive it. I may also have another "never produced" VVSS from the above list on the way. If so, I will start another post about it.

I dont think this is embossed. Its not a vvss type comic. I think it was a DF special. They were doing a lot of signed books at the time. Like the Superman #0 (which I also have).
I believe it has a certificate only. Someone is trying to pull a fast one with the Valiant mylard thing

73/5000. Hah! The 90's....
I wonder what the actual print run was. Several hundred, more likely.
