What do you guys make of this? Retail exclusive. Worth picking up?

I think the $8 used one is a good price. I would ask the seller to make sure it's the C2E2 exclusive version and not the regular FCBD version. Good luck.

Looks like you answered a different question... The C2E2 variant has 1,000 copies.

The FCBD version was probably 50,000 or more...

In case anyone is still shopping for the C2E2 Variant online...
The quickest way to tell the difference by small online photos is:
The C2E2 Variant has the "Doctor Solar / Magnus" title in white letters directly on the art in the middle of the cover.
The FCBD version (common) has the "Doctor Solar / Magnus" title in black letters on a solid white bar across the middle of the cover.
