I have never played a single game on the PS3 in multiplayer and I would need to recharge my earpiece/mic to communicate but this game would seriously be 'mo funner' with a buddy.
Completed the game this morning, the last level is a bit mad with tons of zombies. On the down side the game is very short with 9 or 10 levels, but there has been talk of a dlc

I have the same ones and would also highly recommend them. Great for console and/or PC gaming.Knightt wrote:Yes I do... I have the Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 headphones w/ mic. Ah, I just assumed they were all wireless. How long is the cable and where do plug it into on the 360?Knightt wrote:I really like the ability to control the sound levels of the game sound channel and the multiplayer voice channel seperately.
I wouldn't mind having the wireless headphones but the quality can be very 'iffy' at times.
The cable is 16ft long and is powered by (and plugged into) the USB port on the front of your Xbox 360. I have the 'line in' jack plugged into my HDTV for great stereo sound.david_albuq wrote:Ah, I just assumed they were all wireless. The non-wireless sets are pretty cheap these days pricing in at around $40.

As psyched as I am about it coming out, I do not think it can live up to the old days.Daniel Jackson wrote:Yeah, after all these years it's finally going to be out tomorrow. Sad part is the reviews are pretty bad so far.X-O HoboJoe wrote:Did I just hallucinate or was that really an ad for Duke Nukem Forever?
Honestly looking at video games today, I am a very difficult player to impress. He'll, I have had more fun on Sketchbook on my iPad with Alyssa than ANY game I have played of late.

Players expectations are much higher now thanks to a lot of amazing games. Reminds of what happened with Perfect Dark Zero. The time between the original and the sequel was so long that the game looked and played like a last gen game when it finally came out.Knightt wrote:As psyched as I am about it coming out, I do not think it can live up to the old days.Daniel Jackson wrote:Yeah, after all these years it's finally going to be out tomorrow. I would have liked the wireless ones too but they are at least double the price and the quality can be dodgy.Knightt wrote:The cable is 16ft long and is powered by (and plugged into) the USB port on the front of your Xbox 360. Dude you cant buy a Duke Nukem game and then call it vulgar, it's a given!etos45 wrote:I've been playing a lot of Duke Nukem Forever. I honestly don't think the game is anywhere near as bad as the reviews have been saying. It's a bit harder than I care for my games to be (and vulgar), but it's a solid game and pretty fun once you get going.

Glad it ain't too bad, will grab it when it gets cheap.

Indeed. Duke Nukem? Vulgar? You mean the game where, in Zero Hour, he dropped into a strip joint called the Beaver Hutch and went "feels clammy in here...what a tight squeeze"? The game where you rescue half naked "babes?" Where guts and gore is par for the course?ian_house wrote:Dude you cant buy a Duke Nukem game and then call it vulgar, it's a given!etos45 wrote:I've been playing a lot of Duke Nukem Forever. I've missed Duke.

Well, the thing is that I guess I don't remember the old Dukes well enough. I remember it being gory, but not that vulgar. I only played the side scrollers and the first Duke FPS, though, so maybe they changed (or maybe I'm old with a bad memory)? The vulgarity doesn't bother me, though, it just kind of threw me for a sec... he's got a real potty-mouth.ian_house wrote: Dude you cant buy a Duke Nukem game and then call it vulgar, it's a given!

I have no doubt if you wait a month or two, you will be able to get this game on the cheap. Assuming your system's version isn't plagued with bugs, it's a totally passable game and a pretty good Duke game.

There's no "half naked babes" now... they went full monty on this one.xodacia81 wrote:Indeed. Duke Nukem? Vulgar? Guts and gore are what made these old FPS games. That was the only thing I was expecting.
