The story in Conan the barbarian 9 is an daptation of a Robert E Howard story - "Garden of Fear" - nothing to do with Rune.depluto wrote:What about the Rune-looking dude on the cover of Conan No. 9 (original series)?BruceReville wrote:He is suppose to be greydepluto wrote:Dumb question time ... is Rune blue or purple?

Q: Conan, what is best in life?
A: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

I used to have that as my signature... I am sure it is a typo but it is 'their women'.depluto wrote:Q: Conan, what is best in life?

I want to nail down the polybags with the price differences ... here is what I think the list is:
Firearm 1 ($2.50, $1.95)
Hardcase 4 ($2.50, $1.95)
Mantra 2 ($2.50, $1.95)
Solution 1 ($2.50, $1.95)
Strangers 4 ($2.50, $1.95)
Ultraforce 1 ($2.50, $2.95)
Not sure about Prime 2 (or is it the 4?) but I think that is one also. Solitaire 1 also but those bags were black so I'm not sure it counts as a variant ... as far as I know all of those books had a cover price of $1.95 when you opened the bag.

Yes both versions of Prime 4 come polybagged - Prototype version is the hardest to find --- but it is out there.depluto wrote:Crikey, I went through some ebay auctions. I saw Mantra 2 with the price difference, but the Prime 2 PB seems to have the same price as the non-PB. And with the Prime 4, do both covers have a PB version?
