Community Feeling - Thanks
When this community comes together it can be so great. I am still amazed from meeting our royal chapter and today out of the blue I received a fantastic gift in the mail from across the pond.
An gift that shows an important moment in the comics and also represents the artistic abilities, the charity work and the generosity of these boards.
Thank you!

This board is fantastic on the community feeling, bro.
So what didja get in the mail ?
(sorry for not replying earlier but for some reason I do not get 'new post' notifications when I view the board, many times it looks like nothing has been posted. If I don't see the 'red Valiant compass', I don't go into that section/thread)

Good think you brought it back. Knowing the modesty of all involved I said very little before. By now it should be safe to show off and repeat my thanks:Knightt wrote:This board is fantastic on the community feeling, bro.

Know what, talking about people who create the community feeling, I can now also post some British swag without ruining surprises too much:

And for those of you who, like me, did not realize how much work went into the brass plates, here's a pic of originals for two plate etchings and other items from Fletch. I hope it conveys the understanding that I get from it first-hand, of how many steps and small details that had to be right for every single plate:
