Just finished Pinocchio Vampire Hunter. It was terrific! Scary, funny, intriguing with just enough of the original. Love this kinda stuff.

I second this. Rarely does a comic actually make me laugh out loud. This one did - caught me by surprise with a great quip!

The Walking Dead HC 3 (issues 25-36).

No matter how many times I read the revenge story, it always manages to gross me out when I get to the eye page.

I've started reading my Jack of Fables run. It's not quite Fables, but I still am enjoying it.

I think I have a pretty sold run up to about 32-ish then I'm missing a few here and there.

About a month back I picked up the first 38 issues for £8. Just finished going through them, good fun but nothing ground breaking. And definitely more enjoyable to read through as one rather than odd issues.

Same here except I was a Marvel. Now I'm mainly an Image with part Vertigo.
It seems like lately the more Image I read, the more I want.

I think I am ordering somewhere around 10 Image books this month. Crazy stuff.
I have to say for years and years so much Image stuff looks so readable.
There must be so many great books that have slipped under the radar in the last en or so years.
Drift and myself did joke about collecting all the image books ever published.

Just finished The Transformers: International Incident about the Autobots and Skywatch battling that 3 of the Combaticons and 4 of the Predacons who are now working as mercs for North Korea and China respectfully and the President of the USA declares that any country using or working with any Cybertronians to be declared a rouge state using WMDs unfortunately he doesn't know that Skywatch which is based in the USA as made an alliance with the Autobots and this means they have to do this covertly. I must say that Mike Costa's direction for The Transformers is different and may not appeal to everybody but it's still one of hell of a great read.

Infinite Vacation #1. This was actually really good. I think it's a mini and I'm kind of glad it is so there is a complete story.

I'm ready to give up on Morning Glories. Nothing ever seems to happen in the stories. Last issue they took the entire issue to let me know that some girl I don't remember is in charge of everything? Huh? There's a guy on the cover who doesn't even appear in the book.

Is this just so deep, that I'm missing everything, or has it lost its direction?

Birds of Prey seems to be getting better. It plateaued a while ago and I'm hoping the Death of Oracle story will be impactful.

It's definitely a slow burn. I'm thinking this will read better in trades of HCs.

I am pretty sure that Barbara is going to survive and she is going to remove the mask of Oracle behind which she has been operating for years.

Yeah I'm pretty sure she ain't going to die. To be fair I've not thought much of the current Birds of Prey series, I've been sticking with it as I really like Simone's writing normally, but I'm not so sure.

Scalped 44.

The twists in this one were unbelievable, but it is a comic book. The story itself and the human emotions were fantastic as always.

This book is consistently a great read.

If you were ok with TWD, you should be ok with this in regards to the content. It's not blatantly offensive like Preacher or The Boys or stuff like that.

I just finished re-reading TWD HC 3 and 4 covering issues 25-48. Looking forward to 5 and 6. One of the few books I can re-read time and again and never get sick of.

Just finished re-reading Poison Elves The Mulehide Years (I, Lusiphur). Awesome stuff. Drew Hayes is a master (rest his soul).

After the kids are in bed, I'll start re-reading the Sirius Years (Poison Elves). :thumb:

Unknown tpb Boom Studios, Mark Waid.
Loved it and there is a follow up.

Also Deadworld omnibus.
Contains the first Image mini series from way back what seems like ten years, but probably about 7ish.
The second mini, Frozen over published when Deaperado had a short spot at self publishing before moving over to IDW.
The final instalment is the twisted tale of the Slaughterhouse that carries on the main character from the 1st Image series and the original Caliber volumes.

Overall loved it, but nothing like WD so not good to compare.
Shame the omnibus was badly glued as middle pages fell out

Still reading my Jack of Fables run. I'm just past TGFC (which I did not re-read). I have really enjoyed my Jack run. It's not Fables, but still enjoyable.
