And incomplete - the last Chapter was never released.Triumphant Serial Number wrote:OTV should do a mandatory reading of "Deathwatch 2000" like was done with Unity and the Malev War. DW2K was a direct result of the success of Unity, so it makes sense to break it down as a comparison.
Sadly, reading it will hurt . . . real bad.

I cannot convince my compatriots to crack open an Ultraverse book. I will have zero luck with Deathwatch 2000.Triumphant Serial Number wrote:OTV should do a mandatory reading of "Deathwatch 2000" like was done with Unity and the Malev War. I do have all the cards, though...

Black September. It's more than a crappy name ... it's a variant cover.
Does anyone remember where that preview book came from?

Tweaked the wording on the checklist quite a bit. I'm going through visually and verifying stuff, changing things like "alternate cover" to "Ultra Gold Limited Edition" so it matches the wording on the covers.
Also, "Warstrike Prelude to Godwheel" wasn't on the list. Should it be under Warstrike or Godwheel?
Any questions, comments, concerns?

List under Warstrike - other than one panel on page 20 where he goes on the wire and sees a possible future (Where Argus & Odin can be seen) and mutters thunder - there is where he and Lord Pumpkin vanish at the end of the book to connect it to Godwheel. Then again most of the characters who appear in Godwheel disappear in the pages of their own book as well but none of those are mentioned as "Preludes"depluto wrote:Tweaked the wording on the checklist quite a bit. Good call, that's what I settled on. I also added another Conan book. The three I know of are Conan 4 (comic), Conan the Savage 4 (magazine) and Conan vs. Rune 1. Didn't you say there was a little flashback in Conan 5? Did it have art or was it just a mention?BruceReville wrote:List under Warstrike - other than one panel on page 20 where he goes on the wire and sees a possible future (Where Argus & Odin can be seen) and mutters thunder - there is where he and Lord Pumpkin vanish at the end of the book to connect it to Godwheel. There is a flashback in Conan 5 where Conan is actually reminiscing about facing Rune. Rune appears in one panel as well. 2 Panels if I remember correctly for the whole flashback.depluto wrote:Good call, that's what I settled on. I also added another Conan book. Also, I googled "Ultraverse" at work and your blog was the third entry on the first page after Wikipedia. Then I come home and run the same search and you are on the bottom of the fourth page. I guess it helped that I had checked your blog through google previously at work.
