How many comics do you own? What complete runs do you have?

Everything else comic-related that's not VALIANT-related.

From Hell (need about 4 issues)
Lone Wolf and Cub
Scalped

TPB runs I'm looking to complete:
Invincible (I have 1-4, I think but I have read up to arouond issue #42)

Out of the huge list of Crossgen TPBs you only need five to be at 100% ?

I might need to amend my statement. Those are the TPBs that I am looking for that I need. There are others I do not have, but I have nop desire to have them.

Yeah, yeah... so why do I keep coming here then?

You all.
You still getting the X-books though? Or completing older runs.
I was planning on bringing you some gaps next year in exchange for a tasty meal

:)
Hmm... I really haven't bought ANYTHING in the past few years since the Valiant HCs came out. But, I am sure not going to turn free comics down!
Then send me a list of gaps from Uncanny 200 up, X-men ( legacy) 1up, and mini series from same time frame.

See what we can hook you up with. Drift loves pretty much any food, but i like a good old fashioned Burger where possible.

'Will trade comics for food' sign in the making.

:thumb:
I can make that easy - I can assure you that I have nothing (!) from Uncanny #500 and up, no matter what the title. Just anything in that time frame...

;)

I'm with Slym... Been falling out of love the last few years.

Actually gave away 2 long boxes a few months back.

Looking to keep about 100 comics when I'm all done.

Heh - I have it pared down to ~2200, and can't see getting lower! I guess I am not out of love with what I have...

Oh yes. I'm with you there. I just want and like my TMNT Vol 1, Albedo, and Liberty Meadows. I'll keep a few of the pre-Unity books. That's going to be it.

Sometime this year I'm going through my collection and sell off what I don't want.

Some Valiants may go with that (I've fav story arcs & artist which will dictate).

but, there 1 issue of a series I've been hunting for without dropping a huge wad on.

Akira #38 from Mavel's Epic line. It's the only one I don't have!! :!:

I believe the only complete run that I have outside of VALIANT is "Mazing Man 1-12. Since I don't have his origin issue, it might not be considered a full run.

Oops. I read the thread after I posted and suddenly remembered Crossgen when reading veen's list:

Meridian (Crossgen)
Sojourn (Crossgen)
Ruse (Crossgen)
Brath
Way Of the Rat

Edge and Forge TPBs

I also have a little over half of the GI Joe issues from Marvel.

I guess I should tell what my boxes are made up of... all long boxes for now:

1 box of pre-Unity VALIANT and all related VALIANT books, as well as my two Crossgen titles, full runs of Brath and Sojourn
BOXES of Uncanny X-Men, adjectiveless X-Men, Wolverine, X-Force, X-Factor, a LOT of stuff with "X" in the title...
1 box with the random DC, Dark Horse, Image, and the like if stuff that I really can't let go (DC/Wildstorm's "Sleeper," that kind of thing)
and I think I have two boxes of assorted Marvel stuff that I really like, like some ASM's (the 3-issue arc involving the golden tree from The Dark Phoenix sage up to where he beats the living snot out of Firelord) and some stuff where I just like the covers.

At least half of my boxes have mutant-genes.

I recently passed 40,000 comics in my collection and have no duplicates in that count. In terms of runs I am close to a full run of everything DC published in the 1980's.

I once got as far as 30 long boxes of DC when i attempted to get everything from Crisis onwards, but got carried away and went back to 60' & 70's as they were so much cheaper and accessible than Marvel of the same periods.

I will go it again after i get a few of the 100+ DU's im collecting, but will def stick to Post Crisis for sure. Well maybe a few others too for good measure.

Drift had an amazing run too, but last year we culled much of it due to his space limitations.

The good thing about DC is that you should be able to get most of the books again for good prices.
