You made the other people's quotes thread, you know. LOLcaxiotis wrote:I was trying to write "Should" on my Itouch and it somehow posted "She of." I personally like "She of" better than the word "should"jedimarley wrote:Is that like 7 of 9?She

I'm guessing something isn't right with the Magnus release dates:
Magnus
2010
1 August 4th
2 October 13th
2011
3 February 16th
4 May 25th
5 May 11th
6 June 8th
7 July 6th
Right? Are those their dates?
We are down to 2 books this month instead of four? Bummer. No books in March at all and 1/2 of April's were pushed back.
I hope this does not stay a problem.

I also wonder, these books are not selling well, so DH probably doesn't care as much about the release dates (and their constant last-minute release date changes--they have to know this bothers their readers), as much as they would Buffy or Star Wars titles, since those are better sellers and make them more money. I kind of feel like DH has a "take it or leave it" attitude. (kind of like jobs these days--if you don't like it, then quit. I have 1,000 other people that want your job). Since they aren't making a lot of money off these titles, then who cares WHAT the actual readers want. Seriously.
I guess I should just feel lucky the "Gold Key" books are coming out at all.

There were originally four books from this line scheduled to come out this month. Two of them were moved to next month. I don't remember if any were originally scheduled for yesterday as a release date or not.caxiotis wrote:Not to be negative, but weren't there supposed three books that came out yesterday? Another delay?

No Turok #2 this week per Previews but TFAW still has Turok #2's release date as 4/20.

I agree. As much as I have really, really looked forward to and have supported this line so far, I just can't continue getting excited for a let-down, week after week. I hope to still want to read the books when they finally come out, but this is just insanity at this point.dave wrote:There was a lot of positive buzz for this with Solar 5, I think it could have built those numbers back up, but the shipping schedule on these is doing some serious damage to this line, imo.

Turok?
Love how it lists today as a Turok New release on the site, and as a Pre-order. Dang Dark Horse. (Regretting all previous Liefeld insults...)

Turok #2, Solar #6, and the Solar trade are all shipping next week (4/27) according to Previews.

Also, the lastest Samson and Turok archive hardcovers are shipping as well. A big week for the DK line right before FCBD.

Dr Solar 6 and Turok 2 made it to the stands today. It looks like the soonest we might see the next books from this line is May 25th, when Magnus 4 and Mighty Samson 3 are due out. Turok 3 is still on the schedule for May 11th, but that's not realistic. Let's hope we get those next two books May 25th.
