Valiant Era 2 oversize cards?
Anyone know where to pick up some? Getting toward that point in my collection - looking to fill those gaps. I have one - and would like to find more. Any ideas?

I've always thought these were undervalued. I can't see why they aren't "worth" whatever a sealed VE2 box is going for, given that we are not swimming in them like VE1 cards.
It's just one of those things that after I bought it, I realized it would take a lot more for me to sell it than what I bought it for. I bought a beautiful full set from Dino back in the day.
And if you need 3-ring binder postcard holders, I have extras of those for sale if you dont want to buy a box of 100.

Box toppers are a tough thing to gauge in the market. Some want one or two, some want them all. Some people find building a full set of box toppers to be tough.ckb wrote:I've always thought these were undervalued. I lucked out in getting most of them at my old comic shop for $3/each about 5 years ago. Just no OS2 and no SLE1

That's the bad thing about collecting the rarer Valiant/Acclaim stuff. You may just want to bite the bullet and buy a set the next time you see one. Sell the extras and recoup some of your $$$.
The last set I saw (and didn't include the SLE1 and 2) was $200.Daniel Jackson wrote:chesscub wrote:The only time I've seen them has been as a lot which works fine for many but I need just the two.Daniel Jackson wrote:They come up from time to time on ebay, just keep an eye out.

I keep hitting card stores and shows in the vain hope of finding them. Crossing my fingers for Boston Comicon.

If I can find any I will bring them. If there's anything else valiant related you want me to bring, let me know. I will be set up there, as usual.chesscub wrote:The last set I saw (and didn't include the SLE1 and 2) was $200.Daniel Jackson wrote:chesscub wrote:The only time I've seen them has been as a lot which works fine for many but I need just the two.Daniel Jackson wrote:They come up from time to time on ebay, just keep an eye out.

Worth?
What one of us is willing to pay. If they're the oversize, they're in demand...

Thanks DJ. The reason I asked was I have them and will sell them to whomever wants them, but I do not remember what I paid. I'm not looking to overcharge you guys or create a bidding war, just trying to figure a fair price.Daniel Jackson wrote:Normally I would say in the 20 dollar range, but what Kevin said comes into play as well.
