Alf #48 (why is this book so HTF, was it recalled?)
nope, it's in demand because of the stupid cover, which looks like Alf is having sex with a seal. There are a lot of people who collect these unintentionally sexual covers for some reason. Betty and Me #16 is another example that goes for a major premium.

Here's one:

Needless to say, this one is MAJORLY overpriced.

Definitely. A sealed set should go for around $80 (give or take $20).
An opened set is fair at $40 to $50.

They're from 1992 (or maybe 1993), so the 1990 date mentioned earlier is "circa 1990" rather than exact.

Not a killer deal or anything, I put a snipe in on this set for the GBU, but the condition on the set is the best i've seen overall, they all could be sent off to CGC (the worst being #3, best being #6)

Great eye to spot the variant #2. It was set of 1-6 with a variant #2. Doesn't look like the seller knew it was the variant. SOld for about $100 with shipping to GGSAE. One other bidder kept him honest.

There were two other bidders, I got it for about 10 bucks less than my snipe. Still very happy with it, it's just rare to see these in NM.
