The last one ending on a Tuesday did not help it either (for the seller).

It was a buy it now. Don't think the seller did his research.

I just purchased a copy of "The Little Endless Storybook" on eBay today for a "Buy It Now" of $9.00 plus $4.00 shipping :) Being a HUGE Sandman/Endless fan, I have been wanting this book for years, but was always let down by the astronomical prices. Seeing this for such a cheap price (as opposed to $30-$40+ as usual), I couldn't let it pass by!!!

I could have gotten that for cover a while back. I'm not a big fan of the "little" versions.

I picked up:

Star Wars: The Clone Wars TPB Vol 1, 2, 3, 4
Star Wars: Dark Times TPB Vol 1

Each TPB is in beautiful condition and cost me $6.50 each.

Not a bad start to my Star Wars TPB collection.

That's cool. I wouldn't say i'm a HUGE fan of the little versions either, but I loved Jill Thompson's "Death: At Death's Door" manga and have also enjoyed her work outside of the Gaiman realm. Looking forward to reading it :)

Green Lantern, volume 2, # 89...in what I honestly think is 9.8....a book that could go for 120-150....for 45 dollars. I also got # 59, of the same volume, for 5 dollars, but it's in much rougher shape. I'd peg it no higher than 8.0, probably around a 7.5. A very nice reader copy, though.

I just couldn't pass it up. I know I shouldn't have spent the money, but when was I going to find such a great copy at the same price point? Not likely to happen any time soon, if ever. So, I pounced. RAWR! It's mine

Yep. Every once in a while, fortune smiles, and you just have to take advantage of the opportunity.

Sales of CGC 9.6 on that book are $250. CGC 9.8 was last recorded at $925.

OOPS. The part of my entry that I didn't put in was "raw"...followed by "several times that in true CGC". Looking at the book again, I'd give it a 9.6. Still a damn nice deal. Oh, and that 59? It's a 51. Slip of the keyboard.

I understood it was raw, but I was letting you know that if you think it COULD grade CGC 9.6 or 9.8, you would be selling yourself short at $120-$150.
