I should have posted this up last Sunday but things have been manic and i actually forgot, doh !!
I spoke to Rich Emms at the london show last week and he told me all about it and showed me a opic of the Grimm ghost and asked me to look out for copies of the books in bulk for him.
Rich is a partner of Arden who had been doing Flash Gordon and a Casper book recently.
He has been self publishing in the UK for a few years and this would be his biggest rojext so far, previously of Ap comics and Markosia.
I like the idea and i think this will bring back some great memories for those comic collectors over the age of 40

I've only seen a few issues in one comic shop. And they were WAY overpriced. Got any extra copies of The Destructor (Steve Ditko & Wally Wood)?Drift wrote:I have been grabbing them for 25p over the past few years and the majority of the stuff I have read has been great. One of my fave DUs.Heath wrote:Cool! Sure wish I could have gotten some of the old issues first. I'm sure the prices on those will see a jump now.

Don't think I have any Destructor at all at the moment. Certainly not one I've read.Heath wrote:I've only seen a few issues in one comic shop. And they were WAY overpriced. And don't tell us in metrics! As Americans, we don't like to convert metrics into real numbers.leonmallett wrote:So this is British-based?Draco wrote:I should have posted this up last Sunday but things have been manic and i actually forgot, doh !!

No dude, this is a US based project, but the guys who are to my knowledge involved are partly Uk based.leonmallett wrote:So this is British-based?Draco wrote:I should have posted this up last Sunday but things have been manic and i actually forgot, doh !!

From CBR:
Starting in 2011, writer Jim Krueger will join Co-President of Atlas' publishing partner Ardden Entertainment Brendan Deneen to script "Phoenix" with art from relative newcomer Dean Zachary (whose work will also appear in the upcoming "DC Halloween Special"). The story will follow on the heels of the 12-page "Phoenix" #0 written by Deneen from a plot by JM DeMatteis and Peter Hogan.
There is more talk in the article about planned launches. It is nice that they (Atlas) had a booth at NYCC.Atlas' ongoing "Phoenix" series by Jim Krueger, Brendan Deneen and Dean Zachary will ship to comic shops in early 2011

With the long-awaited return of Atlas Comics, I've decided to add a Message Board to the Atlas Archives site. If you have any interest in the 1975 Atlas Seaboard comics and magazines or the new 2010 Atlas Comics, please stop by.
The link to the message board is http://www.atlasarchives.com/forum/
I've also slightly revamped the regular site and added some more material. Please stop by and check it out. Comments and suggestions welcome !

Thanks
Phil

I have extras of this and that, don't know if I have Destructor exactly but can check... whatchoo needing ? My run is 85% complete and have been able to score dupes here and there. Not in minty fresh condition but it is better to have and not need than to need and not have.Heath wrote:I've only seen a few issues in one comic shop. And they were WAY overpriced.
