Meh, I'm not really into that stlyle, as I've said before about it, just looks a bit "cartoony".

They should really grab some attention with artwork like that. DH has really went all out with the covers so far.

I'll pass on both them. I'm cutting costs and DHGK titles feel like books that would read better in TPB.

I was unimpressed with the story in the first issues of Solar and Magnus and that, combined with price/bad artwork, led me to discontinue after a single issue, something I've never done before.

I liked the first issue of Magnus and I think it has some long term possibilities. Magnus is a great character and I like how Jim is staying close to the Manning version.

Solar has been the weakest title so far, but in fairness to Jim, Solar is a lot harder to write for. That's one of the major drawbacks in dealing with characters who are that powerful.

I bet you're right. Bill Reinhold was also mostly an inker for Marvel, so I doubt they'd bring someone else in to ink him.

Oh and a backup story featuring the origin of 1-A

When I first looked at the Magnus cover I thought "what is Master Chief from Halo doing with Magnus?" Anyway.....both covers look great.

Yeah, I was thinking "Wait, they are already doing a crossover with Halo?" Once again, the DH GK stuff directly cribs something from someplace else.
