As far as the Acclaim books, I’ve only had a mild curiosity and no real drive to collect them. When I do go back to the shop it will be for my collection.
Thanks for the advice. The shop maybe had 20 different Acclaims all priced at a dollar--that's about what Greg has them listed for anyway. Still, I may grab the lot just to have them...
If you want to read some Acclaim books, don't pay a buck for them. I can get them to you for cheaper than that. If they are some of the rare ones, then for sure do it. If they are the regular issues, send me a PM and I'll will give you a sweet deal.

Their loss=my new pair comfy walking boots.

What, did you pick one up out of a bargain box or something? I once pulled several Miraclemans out of someone's cheap box, and #16 was one of them. No #15, though.400yrs wrote:Are Miracleman 16s worth anything? Is there a second printing or something that I might have picked up?
AFAIK, there is no second printing of MM #16.

Yeah, I picked up 2 copies out of a $1 box. I know some of these issues aren't worth squat while others are. No idea on #16 though. Not really any recent sales on ebay to figure it out either.Brother J wrote:What, did you pick one up out of a bargain box or something? I went to a shop for the first time today that's a ways away.
This store only had a bunch of 80s and 90s comics (no new books, no trades, etc). Most all was $1.
I found a copy of Flash 92, but it's a beater. I bought it anyway. All the copies of this book I find are beaters.
Found 2 copies of Witchblade #1. I don't know anything about this title so I was expecting to find out they are second prints or from a later overprinted run. Luckily, they aren't. They are solid 9.2-9.4 copies. I guess these move at about $20 or so on ebay.

I think I have a pretty nice copy of it if you're interested.400yrs wrote:I found a copy of Flash 92, but it's a beater. I bought it anyway. All the copies of this book I find are beaters.
There were a couple copies that went for $20, but a bunch more that went for $10 or less. Never know with eBay.400yrs wrote:Found 2 copies of Witchblade #1. $13 shipped for 37 books. Seller shipped via Priority Mail and postage alone was almost $11. I was the only bidder.

The seller didn't list the issues properly. A lot of the early sandman books still have their back issue price tags on their bags which were $18, $18, $15, . . .
Sandman: 10, 11, 13 (x6), 21, 46, 49, 53, 55 (x3), 56
Sandman Mystry Theatre: 4 (x2), 5 (x3), 6 (x3), 8
Akira: 9 (x3), 12 (x3), 13, 17 (x2), 22 (x2), 26
