WTS: Image GOLD variants, Please LOOK!!
Hey, guys and gals.
While digging through boxes upon boxes of Valiant stuff for other members here, I also came across several Image Comics (y'know: Rob Liefeld, Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane; yeah, THAT Image Comics
!), including the following GOLD variants:
1. Brigade #1
2. WildC.A.T.S. #1
3. WildStar #1
4. YoungBlood STRIKEFORCE #1
and
5. Supreme #1
ALL of 'em are for sale as I no longer collect and just need to unload 'em to a serious collector. Please feel free to PM me with offers. Although I DO wish to sell ONLY, I "may" be interested in a trade for some Valiant GOLD, just depends on what'cha' have. Just LMK.
Thanks ahead of time for YOUR time
!
Sincerely, BloodShot

Um You can't get ONE Valiant gold for these FIVE golds...EXCEPT Wildcats #1. I routinely...and yes, I DO MEAN routinely...buy these books for $1 or less....in fact, I bought about 5 copies of Supreme #1 gold for 50 cents at WWLA.BloodShot wrote:Hey, guys and gals.

$15 is a VERY GOOD offer for them, I'd take them if I were you.
This is what they market at at the moment:
1. Brigade #1 - $1 (sad but true)
2. WildC.A.T.S. - $5-$10
3. WildStar #1 - $1
4. YoungBlood STRIKEFORCE #1 - 50 cents (if you're lucky)
and
5. Supreme #1 - $1
Seriously man...good luck. I bought about 600 copies of each of these books about 5 years ago from the Image warehouse 'cleanout' sale. 50 cents each. All except Wildcats $1, which I'll pay $5 for.
Did you REALLY turn down an "offer" for $50???

Image GOLD variants, DON'T look!!
Well, since I never got an offer of $50, I guess the answer would be "NO".ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Did you REALLY turn down an "offer" for $50???
If I had, I'm sure I would've taken that. Obviously, not nearly what I'd want, but certainly better than the values you're quoting.
As stated earlier, I've been out of the game for some time now. Had NO idea Image books had fallen THAT much lower over the years. Yeesh; that sucks :x !
Guess they'll just stay in their boxes 10 MORE years then; not even worth shipping 'em for that price.
Live and learn, I guess, huh?

The beautiful thing about variants, even these, and what I think will be their eventual saving grace is...they just weren't printed in hundreds of thousands of copies.BloodShot wrote:Roger that and right back at ya'ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:How many copies of Deathlok #1 do you think I have? ?!
I THINK...don't quote me, because I own at least 5% of the print run if this is true...but I THINK the Liefeld Golds (Brigade, Youngblood #0, Strikefile, Supreme) were 10,000 print runs. Sure, wayyyyyyy high for a premium....but MINISCULE for a regular book.
One of the gems of my collection?
A SEALED CASE of Darker Image Golds....sealed from Ronalds.
150 copies.
Bound to be a 10.0 in there somewhere.

More and more I'm thinkin' this might be the only way to recoup some of the literally thousands of dollars I've lost. In NO way will I ever be able to make it up. Only glad I was able to recover "quickly", and move on

Until you sell, all your 'losses' are on paper...heh....punny....it might come back, eventually. Depends....do you want to be selling comics in 2174?BloodShot wrote:BOUND to be; and most likely more'n one, if yer luckyZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:One of the gems of my collection?
