Didn't know that it was going to be in 3D... what kind of glasses do you have to wear ?

Yesterday I picked up Alan Wake... dumb *SQUEE* me, I started it WAY too late in the evening (and had a long night with the little woman the night prior hubba hubba), so I was 'playing' it while nodding off. I can't really say what happened and I am about 30 minutes into the game...

I will start a new game tonight.

I really enjoy it as well. What character class/level are you?
I believe that I am a Soldier level 16 or close to that level. How could I NOT play the Soldier, right ? This is really an enjoyable game.

Currently rotating in my Xbox 360 (PS3 gathering dust again) are these games:

Borderland
Split Second (way cool racer AND you get to blow up $hit)
Alan Wake (waiting on my dry cleaning to come back to go any further in that game as it can make you crap yer pants at times), VERY good game
Mass Effect 2 - IS there a game better than this ? QUALITY
Iron Man 2 (hey, I am getting ready to take the family to see IM2 tomorrow)

On reserve:
Crackdown 2
Transformers: War for Cybertron

I was going to try Red Dead Redemption and even had it reserved but cancelled it. I may get it later on, the cowboy hype just doesn't hit me. Looks like it has WAY too many comparisons to the last Grand Theft Auto.

It's easier using the arrow keys instead of the mouse. I couldn't make it work with the mouse.... :D

It's a little tricky to get the timing right with the mouse and sometimes Pac-Man goes the opposite direction.

DOMINATING my time right now is

Alan Wake (see my review) and Split Second (also reviewed).

I will put more into these reviews later... I would now but it is 440 am, bad dreams woke me up again and I need to try and get back to sleep.

Just picked up Borderlands at last (£20 seemed reasonable). Was going to get Red Dead Redemption but it was sold out at the 3 stores I went to in town! Been playing it with the missus for the last few hours and its cracking!

Seen playing more SNK Collection. Death Match in World Heroes rocks.

I also downloaded my first wiiware game Ghostslayer cause I wanted a new non-joystick game and this was supposed to basically be a swipe of Swordplay Showdown off WiiSports Resort. At first I didn't like it. Even though the graphics are good (and creepy) and the controls feel great it's slow with flat, straight levels and only two or three enemies appear at a time. But it grew on me. It's not as good as Wiisports but once I got the hang of it, I felt like a badass, especially with the more powerful swords you can get. It's probably worth $6 if you don't mind a short, simple game and you're looking for swordplay.

Hey I have been looking at getting Borderlands now that the price came down. Would I just be so far behind in multiplayer that it wouldn't be fun? Is there a single player campaign with it too?

Finally able to sit down and play Super Mario Galaxy 2. So far so good. It reminds me just how fun the first one was to play. I can see a lot of replay value in this and I've only beat the first level. It's a shame Nintendo can't crank out more games like this.

Right now can't get enough of:

Mass Effect 2 (some NICE add-on DLC out for this now)

Red Dead Redemption (who ever thought being a cowboy could be so cool)

Split Second (easily the best racing game arcade style to date)

And... the Crackdown 2 demo !!! (this comes out July 6th and I think it is gonna ROCK. "Get to work, Agent !!")

There were MANY 4th of July give-aways at the local Game Stop, I won a new copy of Tom Clancy's End War. The vocal commands are pretty damn cool but it is a pretty tough game which I am guessing will get easier with time. But still a few free achievements.
