Quite a bit. I was actually planning on bidding on the fantastic four #1 cgc 3.5 on Comiclink, but had to give it up for this purchase. I couldn't pass up the JIM#83 as the seller priced it under the average GPA.
Nice. Congrats! :thumb:

Just got Miracleman 16, 17 and 18 for what seemed a good price. I paid £5 for the 16 (Alan Moore) and £3 for 17 & 18 (Neil Gaiman).

I'm not sure whether to keep them or eBay them. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to afford the full run of these. What do you reckon I'd get on eBay?

It's been a while since I followed up with MiracleMan. All I remember was #15 was the big book of the series. Looking at Ebay's past sales, #16 sold for $33 and #17 & 18 sold for about $13. They were described in NM.

eBay and then buy the collected edition when it's published (eventually) :D

Today I bought two Absolute editions. Watchmen and Superman - For Tomorrow :)

$71.00 each which is good value in Australia.

#24 and #23 usually do quite well also, as there are usually few copies of each for sale.

Here's my latest pickup:

I also won a copy of 281 in the same lot. Really starting to like Rhoades and War Machine. Bonus is the fact that both are newsstand variants.

Just received a nice bunch of X-O Manowar books from Elveen in the mail yesterday!

I also got on eBay and purchased New X-Men #149, which completes my Grant Morrison run on the book. And I also just won a lot of John Byrne's Babe and Babe 2.

Still (and kinda always) on a Byrne kick. Managed to win a nice eBay auction with the complete Next Men run (including the 2112 one-shot) for $15 including shipping.

That's how I picked mine up a few years back - same lot items and about the same price. It's money well spent too, because it's a terrific read. I hadn't enjoyed reading a team book as much since reading the original Harbinger stuff back in the day.

Nice, did that come with issue #21, Hell Boy first appearance issue?

Is that THE first appearance? Or just 1st in color?

Technically it's the first in color. His true first appearance was in a book given out in a comic con. I forgot which, but people usually look for Next Men #21 as his first.

Yep, there was even a special note of that in the auction description! Every other Next Men lot I saw was minus that issue at least.

The lot I bought several years back had that issue in it too. Once in a while they creep in there!
