Comic universes no longer active, Bravura, Continuity, CrossGen, Future, Malibu, Ultraverse... and others that are 'no longer with us' today (or only recently brought back).

Future Comics site and Metallix 7 Ashcan

Post by J-D Manowar »

I have started working on my Future Comics site. It's nothing ground breaking due to my limited tech skills, but something to keep me busy and get the word out there about Future Comics.

http://sites.google.com/site/futurecomics/Home

As always I am looking for anything Future Comics, especially the Metallix 7 ashcan! Thanks for looking!

Bob Layton used to sell them if you contacted him or his site towards the end on the Future Comics run. There is a Freemind, a Peacekeeper and Metallix. They were regular issues that were going to be published, but they closed up shop before the saw the light of day. I have the Freemind and the Peacekeeper, but Bob sold out of the Metallix one before I could buy one. It's the only FC comic I'm missing. Thanks for the compliments on the site, I am going to be working some more on it soon.

I dig your web site, hopefully you eventually find that ashcan, because it looks like you have everything else! :thumb:

Is Bob Layton's website OK to visit again? I thought I had heard somewhere that someone picked up a virus from going there, I haven't tried to go back there since. I also no longer get e-mails from him mentioning that the web site has been updated, so I don't know if he regularly updates it like he used to do.

Thanks for the compliment. He hasn't updated it since August and I haven't got an email from him in a very long time not counting the one announcing Dick Giordano passed away. I go there about once a week to check. It looks clean on viruses now. I remember when that happened.
