Shadowman Vol.3 #1 variant with price
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWNX:IT
And as a bonus, after the auction ended the seller emails me and says they have another copy and would I be interested in it for an extra buck......umm yes please.
2 copies for $4.49 shipped, not to shabby.

Nice price (I think). I remember that a certain member of this board sold one for $1,000 not to long ago.

The IRS was a bit kind to me this year, which was especially nice since last Saturday one of my stops held it’s annual 1/2 off back issue sale. Below is what I snagged:

I’ve been working on the 70’s Swamp Thing run and the shop had a bunch I was missing. With ST #16, 17, 19, and 20 all I’m missing are 21-24.

Not high on my want list and I rarely buy Marvel but the conditions and pricing were too good to pass up GI Joe #1 and Amazing Spider-Man #36.

The pricing on the Modern Captain Atom #84 should have been an indication that it was not the Charlton first print—oh well...

I usually grab any book with a Neal Adams cover—Strange Adventures #217, and Superman #317 were too nice to pass up.

This is probably the worst time to begin collecting Deadman with the character’s prominence in Brightest Day but the price on these two keys made them good picks. And, Strange Adventures #207 has another rockin Adams cover—it won the ’67 Alley Award for best cover.

I’m always on the lookout for BA DC Kirby and The Demon #1-3 goes well with the rest of my collection.

Yup, the print run on them seems fairly high and no one seems to care much for it for some reason. Witchblade #1 still sells for about $20-25, but her first appearance goes for a buck or two?Brother J wrote:The Cyblade/Shi book is fairly common, though, isn't it?superman-prime wrote:just picked up 2 cyblade shis (1st witchblade
and transromers 72 and 74 VERY HTF for 5 total
I used to pick the various variant versions out of cheap boxes all the time, but they don't seem to be worth flipping.
