Interestingly, multiple threads seems to capture my feelings on the big 2.

DC is better than Marvel.

The Marvel Cosmic stuff is pretty darn cool. I just finished Annihilation, and I'm reading the Annihilation: Conquest series now. Pretty cool stuff. It reminds me of how comics were when I was younger. Good ol' good guy versus bad guy stuff, but interesting and fun.

I read War of Kings as it came out, but I think I might pick up the hardcover to go with the Annihilation hardcovers. I'll pick up the Thanos Imperative hardcover when it comes out.

Two questions, how is the Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy series, and when the hell are we getting MORE DARKHAWK?

Yeah I don't mind seeing more of Darkhawk since he was an underused character with lots of potential.

I'm currently working out a transaction over at the CGC boards on one of the major books I'm trying to get my hands on. Hopefully it will work out by next week and I'll have pics to show. Getting a bit antsy here... :)

Darkhawk has been pretty heavily featured in Nova since Realm of Kings.

There's a bunch of Darkhawks now. A Darkhawk Corps, if you will. Except they describe themselves as a "fraternity" except there's way less Bud Light than with my fraternity.

I love the binding work on those books. You should customize some covers to compliment them. :thumb:

Vintage toy adds rock. I was reading a ‘70s Swamp Thing and spent several minutes looking at an old Batman toy add. I don’t bind but I wouldn’t remove the adds—part of the history of the book.

Quite a bit. I was actually planning on bidding on the fantastic four #1 cgc 3.5 on Comiclink, but had to give it up for this purchase. I couldn't pass up the JIM#83 as the seller priced it under the average GPA.
