Haven't been able to locate one of these on eBay yet. Couldn't find any under closed auctions either...
Anyone else looking?

Didn't do eBay. I have my photographer out at the show and he grabbed me one for $15. Will be interesting to see how it goes, won't it?

Yes. I think that's a good price. The print-run seems much less than Unity 0 Red, for instance.

The last time I saw one of those "1000 only" Con exclusives from Dark Horse was for the "Star Wars: Invasion #0" Baltimore Con/Diamond exclusive a few months ago.

That one turned up on ebay and ranged from $9.99-19.99 after the con was over.

But this Solar/Magnus c2e2 exclusive looks extra special though.

It looks "Birth of the Defiant Universe" extra special.... :D

Not speaking as the Overstreet guy here, just as a fan, but I'm very happy to have it for $15, so you ought to be very happy, presuming everything works out.

Zach of Daydreams was the one who told me about the variant when I first got to the show. So after the Dark Horse panel it was my one goal of the show to snag a copy.

The first dealer I found who had one wanted $20. I passed and continued searching until I found another guy who only wanted $10, that seemed fair and I grabbed it.

The interesting thing I found out while asking around was that the dealers had to go to a Diamond event on either Thursday or Friday to get the book. Since Thursday was setup and Friday was the first day of the show most dealers I talked to had not been able to go to the event.

So it might be that all 1000 copies didn't get out.

Only one of them ships internationally, so that's the one I'll go for. The seller with the combo-deal sold two more tonight while I slept.

I'd pay 25.00 right now to lock in a stict NM copy. Here's a couple auction style listings live at the moment.

Here's one that went for 34.99. Normally I'd say they would probably drop in price if given time, but I'm not sure this book will do that. This variant could end up being the key book from the new launch.

Yes, this looks much stronger on the back issue market already than that one does. :thumb:
