What If...Rob Liefeld did the variant cover to Dr. Solar #!?
Hey all,
Here is my take of what Liefeld's variant approach to Dr. Solar would be; inspired by the recent thread of Solar's return...lol.

Nice! I like it! All it's missing is a metal -banded arm and a gleaming bionic eye and you're all set.JonesyAZ wrote:Here is my take of what Liefeld's variant approach to Dr. Solar would be; inspired by the recent thread of Solar's return...lol.

I thought about that, but my thought first was that he'd probably draw Solar to look a bit like classic Cyclops first, then I had to add the obligatory many swords and gun/metallic pipes on his back. Then I threw in a Liefeld gun in Solar's hand for good measureTim wrote:Nice! I like it! I noticed the very obvious absence of feet right away.JonesyAZ wrote:I thought about that, but my thought first was that he'd probably draw Solar to look a bit like classic Cyclops first, then I had to add the obligatory many swords and gun/metallic pipes on his back. I'll plot it for you.JonesyAZ wrote:I would be all over that. If someone could color it, I would pencil, ink it.ian_house wrote:Rob Liefeld's Valiant UniverseUnblessed wrote:Next fan project?
[Insert name of title hero/group] is breaking into [insert villain/group name here]'s facility to get hold of [insert name of artifact here] for some reason.
Henchmen fight them but [insert hero/group name here] fends them off and makes it to centre of facility where they are confronted by [insert villain/group name here].
There is some cliched posturing and forced dialogue between [insert hero/group name here] and [insert villain/group name here] and they fight over a series of disproportioned and badly perspective laden splash pages (10 minimum).
[insert hero/group name here] eventually beats [insert villain/group name here] and aquires [insert name of artifact here] and then heads back to base for debrief.
When [insert hero/group name here] returns to base their boss (in exaggerated military uniform and smoking a fat cigar) confronts them for going against the plan but [insert hero/group member name here] comes out with a "witty" quip and they part ways.
{insert hero/group member name here] is seen getting into bed with a woman with a waspish waist and massive breasts and they pull the covers over them.
