I don't know how many of the newer guys are aware of this, so I thought I'd post a link. I didn't know it was available as a pdf file, myself.

Here's a "fanfic" type project that used the Valiant characters called "Valiant: 1999 and Beyond". It's 117 pages. I thought it was pretty well done.
