For years, I have wanted to be responsible for an addition to the Ultraverse checklist. I even lobbied previously for the Firearm, Solitaire and Night Man DF versions to be added. I finally get one added and all the sudden, my own Ultraverse needs list is getting longer.

It's like one of those wishing monkey paws.

Yep. :thumb:

I gotta say, after 10+ years of searching the 'net for UV books and info that we have the most complete checklist anywhere here. Kudos to everyone involved.

If i were to suddenly finish all my wants list what would i do?

:o

The fact that will likely pass from this world still wanting gaps on my list is a pleasing thought, as i will always be happilly on the hunt.

The standard "Catch" cover blurb yet its not numbered. This makes 3 versions of this book out there

DANG IT...

And here I thought that I could put this book to bed. :!: Guess the Hunt continues.

OK... got it now. CATCH! (no numbering)

Well la-dee-daa.... I KNEW I wanted to post about these books, and that is the fact that I DO have a 'catch' only book. I just uncovered it and will post the O-fficial photo tomorrow.

I don't know why but being able to post this, makes me happy.

Anyone else have the 'catch' only book, aside from Prelate1 and myself ? I would wager depluto or Bro J.

What do you say we add another DF signed book to the list.

Solitaire 1 & Hearts Trading Card signed by Jeff Johnson (limited to 50 sets)

Ha, yeah, I've been watching that for awhile.

It started at $125 months ago, I'm still waiting for it to come down to a reasonable price.

Do you think someone else might hit it if he lowers it to $50 ish?

Although we Ultraverse faithful may be somewhat sick, we are also cheap.

So I would say no.

I did pay £3.00 for a few different DF UV issues this year, but thats my limit on any DU other than Valiant.

Has anybody ever seen the Prime 4 in a polybag? Big Tel has pictures of all the other polybag issues but not that one ... although he does have a pic of the variant cover.

Just wondering if the thing actually exists.

Im guessing that seeing as Big Tel needs them both there's a good chance they don't exist.
he has many issues on his wants list that are more myth than fact after going through his wants.

I would send an email to Chuck at Milehigh and a few other larger peeps and see if they ever had reference to these in stock ever.
After that id cross it off as myth.

Mile High also has a picture of the bagged version (although they cut off the Skybox banner in their scan):

Note that all the polybagged "Skybox" versions have UPC codes on them, which leads me to believe they were newsstand distribution only, which explains why they seem to be hard to find.
