Interesting article, Kevin. I think it would be great if VEI would let you collaborate on a Bloodshot screenplay.

IMO, he's the only man for the job. If they get Esterhaz or some other hack to "write" the script, I swear I'll cry.

I conducted that interview, and it's still one of my all-time favorites.

Good stuff, thanks for the read.
’ve expressed interest in being involved in the Valiant properties over the years and not really gotten any sense that it’s something the owners of the characters are interested in.
Awww, so not an encouraging sign!

I’ve expressed interest in being involved in the Valiant properties over the years and not really gotten any sense that it’s something the owners of the characters are interested in. I’m not clear on what their marketing plan and direction is at this point. I know there’s been the sporadic release of hard-covers. I have mentioned to some industry agents that I would be open to writing or collaborating on a Bloodshot screenplay.
Yeah, I doubt they have any clue as to what it is either.

Unfortunately, after starting with a bang, it appears this could be the case.

Great interview.

I just recently cracked open my closet to take a look through my collection, it had been 6 years since I had the heart to do so.

Skimming through boxes, I came upon a few old Marvel stories that caught my eye; Infinity Gauntlet, some old Spidey vs. Venom rags, and the like. I read a few, they were good, but not as great as they were when I was a teenager.

Then I got to a beautiful, pristine box labeled 'Valiant'. There went my Saturday. I spent the next 8 hours opening comics that haven't seen the light of day since the mid 90s, and it really hit me that Valiant did everything right. The stories were epic, the characters were deep and believable, just all around grand.

I started doing some searching on Google and came upon this place. Sorry for the rambling post, but it is really excellent to find out that I'm not the only one that dreams of days gone past.
