Enjoying Valiant all over again

Post by papafreebird »

Man I loved valiant when it was being produced. Wonderful characters and great storys. My collections small and I'm missing lots of issues but I'm re-enjoying the ones I have. I've apparently lost some of my collection during one of my many moves over the years.

I just got through reading what few magnus I had and am now reading eternal warrior.

To bad the torrents I've found are dead. I'd love to be able to read the entire valiant universe from the begining.

Glad to see there are other valiant fans out there.

btw.
I just read the first chapter of "Playing God" here and it looks interesting.

Thanks!

Great first post, and welcome abroad!!! When you get some time, head on over to the "My VALIANT Story" section and give us the scoop on how you got into VALIANT, when you started collecting, why (if ever) you quit collecting, all that jazz!

BTW - if you want to fill in those gaps in your collection, you've come to the right place. I'm sure there are many people here who could help you out in loosening some of those greenbacks in your wallet with some of their comics.

;)

Welcome and, as Slym said, there are plenty of guys willing to trade/sell issues. Valiant or Acclaim, you can find it all and more. Stick around, this place is a hella-fun.

Most of the books can be bought fairly cheap, especially if you are just looking for reader copies. Put a want list in the Buy/Sell/Trade section and I'm sure someone here can help you get some runs for a great price.

Hey guys thanks for the warm welcome!

I'll definetly post "My Story" in the other sub forum.

I'd love some "readers" but right now money is tight. Wife is going back to school, car payment, mortgage, two kids, etc... Just not as easy to partake in this hobby/passion as it was when I was single with no kids.

Take care guys/gals. I'll be posting again soon I'm sure.
