Looks like the main part of this is done then i would say.
So i will now look at each batch and define what i want to collect and then start to compile the relevant checklists, most of which are here already
Cant wait.
Since starting this thread i have added two boxes of lovely obscure DU & DFT tat. Happy joy joy.

Mr. Slacker (that's myself) has just finished perusing the Mile High small publisher's list and I have just a few more additions:
Tundra
Verotik
Vortex
WaRP Graphics (more than just Elfquest)
Wonder Color Comics (a small one, but it's been mentioned on this board before)
ok, NOW I am done...

Tundra has to be a yes

also Vortex
Warp i will consider as i'm unsure how much they did outside the Elfuest stuff.
I do remeber collecting myth adventures though.
cheers dude

I wouldn't because technically Milestone and Impact are both still dead universes since all the characters are going to be thrown in the DCU and from the interveiwes with the idoit running DC now of days they're not going to have any real connections to their past versions and their not being brought back as a stand-alone line or universe.Draco wrote:So looks like i have to remove milestone then.
Other than Static Shock (which is why probably DC even bought the rights for the whole line was only for that character because of the cartoon show) I would be really surpised if any none of the new series will last past #25.
Hell I would be pleastly surpised if any of the other titles that DC would release would make it up to #12.

The fact that they want to start over sickens me, it really does.
The original stuff was way ahead of its time in storytelling even if some art and colouring was a bit off.
To start over defeats the point if you ask me.
So it stays as DU.

This is really awesome Draco and Knightt! I am really starting to love the Dead Universes more than I ever thought I would! I have made about 6 different checklist and gone on massive EBay and Mile High shopping sprees! I really need to dig through and sort by publisher my roughly 25 long boxes of somics from the 90's. I know I have some cool DU stuff in there that hasn't seen the light of day since I bought it.Draco wrote:Just about one month away from being ready to put up my entire wants for these beauties.

I have some more checklist on the go so will post up when they are done.

for items missed off.

Approximately how many hundred/thousands of comics are you actually aiming for here?! Sounds like fun!Draco wrote:Glad to see you dippiing in G.geocarr wrote:This is really awesome Draco and Knightt! Quick question... when did Americomics stop publishing or go out of business ? Any idea on where to get an Americomics entire comic book titles list ? Seeing as how I guess I am deep in to Americomics right now and soaking up everything I can get, I'll post a sticky AND be able to set up my needs list.
I've been browsing the internet this morning with no luck.
