The only reason I have refrained from posting anything is that it can often cause more harm than good. But everyone seemed especially restless today, so I thought I may as well jump in this time. I will continue to read, but not be active on these boards for the foreseeable future. Hope everyone had a great holiday. Dino
Hey man,

No prob as long we get a little X-O action in the near future :P .
And some Shooter action and some Harbinger action and some action with the word ongoing in it.:thumb:
I get the feeling you just want Valiant for the action....

I was just one the VEI website and they do not appear to be updating it at all. You would think that at least the Features section would have been updated especially by now with the release of Archer and Armstrong: First Impressions. X-O MANOWAR: BIRTH is there as well as Harby HC but no A&A :? :?

I have always tried to keep up the VEI faith. And I still believe.... but.... right now...

But there is no joy in Mudville.......

I guess we still wait.

I have to admit that it's a little disappointing to see them let things like this lapse. It's not that hard to update a website.

Even something like.

"We hope everyone is enjoying the new A&A HC, we have something exciting coming next so stay tuned."

That would be great.

I agree, and they don't even have to hire extra people to do that. Any one of them can post a pic and leave a few comments.

I'm really wondering what is up. Even a simple "we are still alive" would be great.

Dino posting here, with 100 or so regular members, is MUCH different than the head of VEI not keeping the corporate website updated (with possibly millions of viewers) I would think...

:?

Exactly. That is what bothers most, I think. Me, I care less about them posting HERE-a "fan" site-than the OFFICIAL site. That, to me, could show issues, which I hope is not the case.

Errr..... did you mean hundreds? :P

I've just come to not expect anything. That way, if we do get something that interests me (and the HCs don't really), then I'll be pleasantly surprised. It beats being disappointed. :?

Are you saying that being a VEI fan is like a straight man dating a lesbian? Is that what you're saying?

Is it definitely a comic announcement or could it be a movie related announcement?

If they are making a Future comic into a movie, they'll make anything a movie.

Shooter does not equal VEI.

VEI (imo) has run its "reboot" pretty poorly. It feels like amateur hour. I am not saying I don't appreciate the reprints with 5% new material, because I did need those first 2.

but otherwise, there is no way this company survives a relaunch with its lack of self promotion and advertising.

This feels exactly how I would expect cybersquatters to act, or people hoping to "sell" off its properties rather than produce anything new itself.

There are some that think that Shooters "Announcement" and VEI's "Announcement" of a "Announcement" might be related.

I'm not one of them. :|

I was kind of hoping it might be VEI licensing the Valiant characters to Dark Horse to go along with the Gold Key characters in a Valiant reunion, with Shooter running the whole show. Others here have mentioned such ideas before. :hope:
