nope...i have yet to make it across the state of iowa for a show. i was in des moines this past weekend, and am thinking about heading down to the two day show in kansas in two weeks.

we will be setting up at the next des moines show (may 15) and possibly an omaha/lincoln show next time they have one.

never fails, same sayings EVERY time i see the guy. he's definitely a good guy (he even dropped some comics off in iowa city for me when i left them at a show once) he's just a little on the wierd side...

yep, I've heard that one often, as well. He knows I'm married, so he always throws this one my way, as well "Your wife would want you to buy all of them". Probably the best Valiant item he ever sold to me was a Chaos Effect uncut promo card sheet. He sold it to me for $5 and I ended up reselling it for quite a bit more. He also once had a GI Joe Special #1 on his wall books which I bought for $3 and flipped on eBay for a substantial gain. Alan's ok in my book!
