Thanks John! We really appreciate you taking time out of you busy schedule to talk to us Valiant nuts! I can say that I will be buying Zoom Suit and promoting it to my LCS' in Saratoga Springs and Albany, NY for you.
Best of luck with the auction - from the chat session tonight I think you are talking about doing the Valiant Universe the right way!

Yes, big thanks to him and to you. Especially thanks to both of you for making sure my question got a very clear answer. John sure is on top of things (not to be interpreted as a "get feel" or "get into"-joke). Wish I could have been there. When I was young I could wake up at 3AM, but nowadays I really need my sleep. I wonder how these Android Crusher stories will turn out

An hour and 45 minutes... I'm almost happy my internet cut out.
And the music analogies! Did this guy ever work with the Allman Brothers?
Speaking of music, I picked up that Betterthanezra CD: rosalia, is that one any good? (haven't listened to it yet)
And what was that about Having a new book called Andy, student of son of stoned? Torque the PSI Lord that runs the world devoid of machines but beats them up anyway? And my favorite: Destroyer: Back to the Philture.
Ahhhhhhhhhh!

Yeah, I read the transcript and liked what I heard from him. Hope he succeeds (and I'll do what I can to help!).k_c_collectibles wrote:Yeah, there were 26 there at once. I was one of the lucky ones!John seems pretty cool and I like his approach to how he would be doing things if he wins the auction.
I know I am going to promote the hell out of Zoom Suit for him to get some goodies!![]()

Just read the transcript of the chat. Really interesting! Not to mention great of Mr. JT, to field all those questions. Who knew Dino was such a hard nosed journalist ???!!!!! Am I the only nerd who went to my LCS and asked about ZOOM SUIT right after I saw the Sears cover on John's site?
Man I GOTTA get a life.................

When I was five, I dragged my dad into "Mike's Comic Hut"... If only I'd known..

Unless he's been sending press releases to the various comic news outlets (Diamond, Wizard, The Comic Wire, whatever) and they've actually been published as stories, there's no way for the comic shop to have heard about.k_c_collectibles wrote:I asked my LCS about it last week. They told me that they never heard of it... I guess that is why John wants us to promote it to them, eh?
It sounded like John hasn't even gotten though the submission process with Diamond yet (and that can take a few months). When the comic is finally solicited in Previews, which will hopefully be acompanied by a flurry of articles about the comic

Well, I can say for certain that Diamond is aware of all these happenings with Valiant heroes.Todd Luck wrote:Unless he's been sending press releases to the various comic news outlets (Diamond, Wizard, The Comic Wire, whatever) and they've actually been published as stories, there's no way for the comic shop to have heard about.k_c_collectibles wrote:I asked my LCS about it last week. I've been in Las Vegas for the past week at GAMA (a big game industry show). I had a meeting with the Diamond and Alliance people on Tuesday evening and after all the business was settled we got to talking about comics. I brought up the fact that I'm this big Valiant collector and after they finished laughing and giving me grief they said they used to love those stories as well.
We talked about the Dark Horse stuff and how John was looking to bring Valiant back. They were interested to see what happens with this. I even talked to them about this site and all the good it's been doing for Valiant collectors, they thought it was pretty cool.
Anyway, Valiant is on thier radar right now and they know things are happening. I think they are in a "wait and see" mode.
And that's the update from GAMA...
