The plan was for VH-2 Colin King to assume the role of Ninjak, in a costume reminiscent of the VH-1 model.
Despite what some people think, I believe that VH- 2 was heading towards being a mix of 1 & 2.

So, what were they going to do with the kid that turned into Shaza...I mean Ninjak?

I don't know how Denny would lose the title of "Ninjak," but Busiek wanted a "Ninjak of Two Worlds" VH-1/VH-2 teamup. Apparently, VH-2 Colin, inspired by his VH-1 counterpart, would at some point inherit the mantle. I would speculate that Denny would lose his magic powers and wouldn't actually get killed, but who knows? I never would have thought that Jean Palmer would kill Sue Dibny, either.

i was thinking that his mom would ground him for life from video games, and he'd never be able to become ninjak again.

I really can't believe it took 3 pages to get to the most obvious next installment.

In fact I see H.A.R.D Corps being printed before Ninjak, Rai or Shadowman. Shadowman falls into the grey area that Rai does. Technically, he is dead. Unless they have some plans on getting around that it doesn't make much sense to do a HC on him. And if they do have plans on changing that, the "wtf" moments of Unity, Rai#0 and finding out about his forshadowed death seem rather stupid.

EW then Bloodshot and then probably H.A.R.D Corps after a 2nd Harbinger HC #10-17(with their intro)
What we need is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling, in a word, entertainment. -- Jim Shooter

You make some interesting points, but I just can't see VEI putting out a Hard Corps book anytime soon. It was a mediocre title at best and IMO they would much be better off focusing on their core characters.

Yea, I can see why they would hold out on Shadowman & Bloodshot because those are both key characters with unresolved issues of how to carry on at this point kinda same with RAI...it should get real interesting from this point on :hm:

Dino was asking for copies of Shadowman recently so it's probably on the "soon to be HC" list .... what other titles has he been asking for recently?

Yup, I sent him a few so that's a good sign. I think it was Ninjak..

My guess on the request for comics is: movies, TV, Cable, Video Games.

I think a lot of people would feel the same way if they put one out. I don't think it would be worth the effort, to tell you the truth.
